Heroes 2022 was our first event with an actual new publication to sell. We booked the spot back in February, and were very excited to be in Charlotte. Heroes is a hard core comic book and comic art centered convention, and there were a lot of vendors there. Hanthercraft represented well, and we sold quite a few issues, and got the name and the brand out there to more of an audience. Overall the trip was fun, and we did well. But it was expensive. The booth space alone was very high, and the travel expenses also cut into a lot of the money made at the show. We did make some new friends and got to visit with some old ones, and got our first blogger review of the first issue. You can find the review here:
We haven’t decided if we will be attending Herodes next year, just because of the distance, and the profit/loss ratio; along with the fact that there are a lot of other shows that might fit Hanthercraft a bit better. We are very happy to have all the new fans and subscribers on board!
In a couple weeks we will be headed to Comicpalooza in Houston, TX, and are very excited to see what it has in store.
In the meantime, Tandra Issue #2 drops July 5th, and we’ve got 10 more months worth already in the works. Thank everyone of you for your support and love.
